Wine-Heimer Tours LLC is locally owned and operated by Duane Weinheimer, his wife Jennifer and daughter Ella. Great for wine tours, birthday parties, bachelorette parties, anniversaries, concerts, weddings, and events. We offer karaoke upon request at no charge. Our Passenger Van can accommodate 12 riders, And our Cheers Fun Bus up to 14.Hop on board and “Let The good times roll.” We are 100% local and know Fredericksburg inside and out.
About Duane aka JD Rose
A member of the Weinheimer family, one of the first to settle in Fredericksburg, Duane (JD) Weinheimer was born and raised in the charming, beautiful, and unique town of Fredericksburg, TX. He has been a radio personality under the air name of JD Rose in the Hill Country for 40 years, starting when he was in high school. He was instrumental in the resurgence of Texas Red Dirt music in 1991, being one of the first Program Directors in the nation to offer the genre. He is also a founding father of the Americana format, which remains extremely popular today. JD was recently nominated for the Texas Radio Hall of Fame. You can still hear him on-air broadcasting local sports games.
Duane has been entertaining folks as a ride share driver for the last 5 years, amassing an incredible 2000 five star trips in a row. Duane decided to take the fun to another level and provide wine tours for special events and parties, specializing in large groups. Thus Wine-Heimer Tours and the Cheers Fun Bus were born.
